Today's travels focused on the region between Linville Falls and Little Switzerland, Mileposts 316 and 334. It's a gorgeous day, perfect weather for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This image was taken around Milepost 324, opening to views of Table Rock and Hawk's Bill.

The first fall leaf report of 2017 reveals there are PLENTY of leaves on our trees, following Hurricane Irma. We are grateful! Today's road trip focused on the DiamondbackNC/aka NC Hwy. 226-A, with stops at the Alpine Inn and downtown Little Switzerland.
