Join the Celebration of Liver Mush and the Liver Mush heritage of Marion and McDowell County! Back again this year - Pig Calling Contest. Get your best pig call ready! $50, a trophy and a Festival t-shirt for the best pig caller! And the Liver Mush Eating Contest!!! The Contest is open to adults 18 years & up. A $50 cash prize, a trophy and a Liver Mush Festival T-shirt to the winner. Inflatables and other activities for the kids!! Visit with the vendors and sponsors. Free Liver Mush sandwiches from Hunter’s Liver Mush, the event sponsor. This year's Liver Mush Festival will also feature a Beer and Wine Garden for the first time, located in front of and inside Refinery 13, North Main Street in the Festival area. Adults 21 years of age and older will be allowed in the Beer and Wine Garden area between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM by paying $1 to receive a wristband. All proceeds from the wristband sales will go to the local Women's Shelter. For the motorcycles enthusiast, it will be the 1st Annual Hog on Hog Poker Run, Saturday, June 3, 2017, $20.00 per motorcycle. Each registration includes complimentary BBQ sandwich at the end of the run. Registration begins at 1:00 PM at the Marion Tailgate Market; first bike out - 1:30 PM; last bike out - 2:30 PM. Run ends with bike display on Main Street @ 4:30 PM as part of the Liver Mush Festival.
