Pastel Portraits Workshop with Lorelle Bacon

Pastels are a wonderful medium and are great for portraits, especially children! Create a variety of subjects either impressionistically or realistically in an intimate, hands-on manner. You don't have a brush or pen between you and the piece you are working on. Students follow along with the instructor step by step, learning to form the base layer in pastel, then add more details and refine the portrait until completion. Bring a lunch and drink, paper and pen for taking notes. Cost is $95 for A3L members and $105 non-members. Supply fee, $15.
