Spring is a perfect time to enjoy a mountain hike, downhill MTB challenge, or running trail. Before the leaves return, the views are epic and unobstructed! Coming up April 12th register to run Camp Grier's Hellbender 100, a challenging trail run to Mount Mitchell and back. https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=62478
Every day hikers consider Point Lookout Trail. It's just under 4 miles, one way, opening to stunning views of the Royal Gorge or visit one of our area's waterfalls. Catawba Falls, Linville Falls, and Tom's Creek Falls are local favorites.
If you're looking for more of a challenge, book an excursion with Little Switzerland's Thrifty Adventures or call Old Fort's Catawba Angler to float local streams and rivers. Opening in June, Catawba River Outdoors will begin their seasonal river tubing floats. Find details under our "Play" tab!Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
