Sept. 15th - Fall Leaf Report #1

The first fall leaf report of 2017 reveals there are PLENTY of leaves on our trees, following Hurricane Irma. We are grateful! Today's road trip focused on the DiamondbackNC/aka NC Hwy. 226-A, with stops at the Alpine Inn and downtown Little Switzerland.

Point Lookout Trail - Update

Point Lookout Trail recently sustained damage due to a small mud slide. The trail is OPEN, however, bicyclists need to use caution when riding the upper 1.5 mile area.  The U.S. Forest Service is working with area partners to remove the debris.
